"Shir Derech"

The program is designed to support the physical and emotional recovery of individuals affected by the war through music, sound, and instrumental playing as tools for self-support and strengthening personal resilience.

For people coping with the effects of post-traumatic stress, music can provide a space for expression, emotional regulation, and reconnection.

Participants in the program have told us that playing music has helped them cope with difficult nights, nightmares, and physical symptoms such as tremors. It has also given them a greater sense of calm, confidence, and connection with themselves.

While music is not a substitute for professional treatment, for many people it can be a meaningful source of self-support and strength throughout the recovery journey.

The program is offered in partnership with Polyphony and Rimon School of Music.
